Beach party! Saturday August 16, from 8 until midnight. Admission is $5 "Shooting Starr" DJ Rick Davis returns for a hot night of cool music and fun on the terrace and beach at Earlyhouse. Coolers are permitted and refreshments will be available.

4th Annual Charity Chili Cook-off Saturday, October 18 Mark your calenders now for the best chili cook-off around!! Scores of great chili teams compete again for the title of Best Chili and the coveted People's Choice Award. Lots of teams will be returning with their tried and true recipes, some new twists and of course, new contenders. Music, games, a great family day in the country. More information to follow soon. Still accepting teams, seeking volunteers and sponsors.

CELEBRATE WEDNESDAYS Beginning April 16 through summer, join us every 1st & 3rd Wednesday evening from 6 until 10:00 for horsheshoes, beach volleyball, picnicking and a bonfire. $5 admission You are halfway through the work week, so relax and CELEBRATE!! Picnic baskets and coolers are welcome, refreshments are also available. ($5. to participate in horseshoe tournament and winners share the pot.)

New at Earlyhouse Whispering Wings Doves! We are currently training young white doves for release at weddings and other events. Although currently only available here, as their training continues the doves can be released from the location of your choice. A breathtaking symbol of enduring love! Ladies Tea Returns Our ladies teas will return on Sunday, October 26 and on Monday, October 27. Teas will also be held every Sunday and Monday in November, from 11 until 2:30. Every tea luncheon features a selection of sandwiches, soups and side dishes and our delicious sweets. Teas include gourmet, herbal and traditional blends. Teas, teaware, and gifts will be available for sale from "Southern HospitaliTEA". A wonderful, relaxing treat, the cost is $10 per person.
